Willowbrook’s Red Rose Awards outing
The Willowbrook team recently enjoyed an exceptional night at the Red Rose Awards, which recognises the best businesses across Lancashire.
Launched just this year by Lancashire Business View magazine, the awards, in association with Forbes Solicitors, saw 650 business people from across the county descend on the Empress Ballroom in Blackpool’s Winter Gardens, all vying to go home with one of the highly sought after awards. Willowbrook was shortlisted in the Large Business of the Year category.
Elaine Brady, managing director of Willowbrook, said: “Although we didn’t take home the gong, just to be shortlisted was a tremendous honour and reflects on how committed the team is to being the best we can be, for the business and for our customers.
“The whole event was outstanding, from the food, to the speeches, and even the dancing at the end of the night. We all had a ball!”
Nick Hyde, editor of Lancashire Business View magazine, said: “”The Lancashire economy is driven by the passion and commitment that businesses show in striving to be the best they can be. The Lancashire businesses shortlisted at this year’s award ceremony showed strong spirit in driving their businesses forward.”
“The past year has been challenging for Lancashire businesses, but we know that businesses across the county have still had stand-out moments and enjoyed great successes, as we have covered these in Lancashire Business View.
“We hope Willowbrook will use this accolade to promote their business and continue their outstanding work.”
Lancashire Business View is the premier magazine for commerce and industry in the red rose county.
Distributed to almost 9,000 business leaders and key decision makers, the publication covers the issues which matter to companies across the county.
