Who is the Service provided for?
The agency covers a wide spectrum of services for all Service Users aged 18 and over.
Services offered:
- People with Dementia
- Adults with Mental Health problems
- Adults with Learning Disabilities
- Adults with Sensory Impairments
- Adults with Terminal Illness
- Adults who are ill (other than terminal illness)
- Adults who are recovering from illness
Willowbrook’s prime objective is to provide a service, which recognizes the intrinsic values of people, regardless of circumstances, by respecting their uniqueness and personal needs. We treat each person with respect.
We operate a care service, which aims to provide carer assistance 24 hours per day, 7 days a week 365 days per year.
We operate a 24-hour on-call service for Service Users and carer’s in case of emergencies
Our range of services are as follows:
Personal Care
- Bathing
- Dressing
- Getting up, Going to bed.
- Assistance with Meals and Convalescent Care.
- Assistance with administration of medication
Range of Services continued:
Vouchers
- Providing care to enable families and main carers much needed rest, the service is unknown to the provider.
- Initital assessments are carried out; LCC will make a one off payment (at the provider rate) to cover the cost. Willowbrook will invoice the appropriate finance for the service.
Supported Living
- Enabling Service Users to live in their own homes.
- A dedicated care team to assist with personal care.
- Escorting to appointments [transportation to be arranged by Service Users i.e, taxi]
Crisis Support
- Providing a 72-hour block of hours to Service Users wishing to remain in their own home and allowing time for Social Services to do a full assessment of needs.
- Self-Directed Support is designed to enable independence and choices to people receiving care or support
- It gives them a full understanding of the finance that is available in order to empower the person to take control and make decisions about the care that they receive
