Decade delight for first employee

Oswaldtwistle based Willowbrook, a leading home care provider have celebrated its longest serving employee’s tenth anniversary with the company.

Denise Rothwell, who lives on Field Street in Padiham, is Willowbrook’s Extra Care scheme manger for Hyndburn, and plays a key part in running the business along with the management team.

Denise was rewarded for her commitment to Willowbrook with champagne, congratulations cards and a huge bunch of flowers.

“I am absolutely delighted to have been given the opportunity to see Willowbrook grow from a start-up business to a huge success story. It is humbling to know people appreciate my efforts and see me as a valued member of the team,” said Denise.

“Here’s to the next ten years.”

Denise joined the company in 2001, just a year after it was launched by managing director Elaine Brady.

“The support Denise has given me, and the rest of the team, throughout the years has allowed our shared ambitions for Willowbrook to be achieved,” said Elaine.

“It is truly an honour to work with such a caring and committed individual, who always puts the care of our individual customers above all else.”
